Re: First step in the ASL! A new start for the hopeful upstart!
Bataboru was already kind of exhausted already as he layed on the clay, Sparring with Brandon was entirely different to sparing with other Rikishi, his speed and his risky all in nature really forced Bataboru to go all out against him even in sparing matches! Oh god... If he was this crazy in sparing matches then what kind of insanity would they guy pull during a basho!? It was a chilling thought that ran down Bataboru's spine as he accepted his hand.
For a American tho he really was respectful. Most American's he ran into were just mindless brutes a certain, some with a reputation that proceeds them. "Augh... Yea..." Bataboru breathed heavily catching his breath. "You like wana take a small break... I think were both kind of gassed right now, after those spars..." Bataboru was kind of embarrassed he was out of steam after only 3 practice bouts with Brandon but boy if he wasn't a handful to deal with.

You truly had no idea! Honestly, this rikishi's skill and potential were a bit scary to you. He was just brave..going all in on risky defense and offense. It basically meant taking him down in an actual basho match would be really difficult due to how much he gives into every bout!
But yeah. After that, he was lightly panting as he looked over at Bataboru. "Hah..sure, that sounds like a good idea. I don't need to overwork myself on my first day training here.." In all honesty, he could probably do a lot more sparring matches before being completely exhausted. But he really did need to pace himself here.
"So yeah..we can take a break. Is there anything you want to do? Anywhere you wanna go with the two of us? Hah.." Actually, scratch that. He was more exhausted than he should have been. With 450 pounds of rikishi collapsing on top of him with all that momentum and speed, after all.

Bataboru never really took a break in training if anything he just did easier or less taxing training to slowly recover his energy. But boy did he ever wana take one after sparing with Brandon for a bit! So you what? Screw it! He was gona take a legitimate break for once! "Well... Ahh... Were both kind of exhausted... You just wana rest on the benches for a bit!?" Tugging up on his Thick Red Mawashi he would wipe the sweat off his head. Other rikishi meanwhile were still sparing and slamming into each other. SLAM! CRASH! With how much bruality was going around you could say the ASL was even more unforgiving that the traditional sumo of old!
