How to Properly Link Images

Well if you just hot linked it to the site it would getting taken down eventually and you half to hotlink it again which just hogs up the sites Bandwidth. Aka don't do this!

In just a few easy steps.

Step 1: Find an image! Any image you want from your site of choosing! Most of you have probably already done this step and probably have a link that looks something about.

Step 2: Copy the link or drag the image and download it onto your desktop. Then find a hosting site to upload it on! I recommend imgur to host your images on.

Step 3: Upload! Imgur allows you to upload links directly from the internet. It makes your life a lot easier. After uploading it, click your image and look for the code showed in this screenshot.


Step 4: Paste the new image link onto your profile! You can use a spoiler tag to hide it so poeple who want to see it can just click the tag but it should be done like this!

After that your done! You have now linked your image in a sustainable way that wont get it taken down! The site has a few options to tweak the size on the image if the image is to big but other than that your finished!
